a guide based on data
Welcome to the Category Surfers where we break down go-to-market strategies so you can build the best growth engine for your SaaS.
I analyzed 600+ SaaS websites and here is what the best ones have in common:
Usually is about 6-8 words for the heading to grab prospects’ attention. Followed by 10-20 words that explain what the company does, who it is for, and why it’s better.
The best homepages focus on why their features are better than the competition. Your prospects don’t care if you have analytics. They care about if your analytics are better for them (target persona). Sometimes even backed by customer testimonials.
Best companies have social proof scattered around the homepage. Notice how they mention a target persona in the copy “trusted by sales teams” or ”used by data-driven engineers”.
